IMO the introduction novella was a little better. In this one we got to get to know the guys better but I felt that the heroine lost some of her strength, confidence, and spark that made her great in the novella.

I'll def be continuing with the series as its extremely interesting and fairly fast paced as two of the guys know she is to them and have been physical with her (tech three have been physical if you count a dream).

Evie is taken to the Suoja Guild, she thinks that life will get better, but she isn't really correct. She starts learning more things about her best friend. And she has her father's people hating her, and wanting to make her life miserable, plus she doesn't understand her new ability, and why she feels a pull towards these five Suramata.

This book was interesting, and I really liked it, but I was beyond frustrated with the way it kept skipping things that seemed very important. Like stuff that happened to Evie that she just brushed off, and the guys who are suppose to care about her don't seem to notice what's really going on. That doesn't make sense at all because they are suppose to be watching over her.

More stuff liked that happened throughout the book and it made it difficult to deal with. But other than that I really liked the book, and I can't wait to find out more now, especially after that ending.

I have a huge pet peeve... I knew that going into this book but I was excited to see where this would go. So many things drove me up the wall though, especially in the beginning. Things were brought up that seemed important and then discarded, things that should have been important were glazed over. The entire first half seemed to be a rewritten version of book one because of said spoiler^. And I kept wondering what the point of book one was if we just went over every single thing that happened again. And then

That aside I really enjoyed the second half of this book, especially her interactions with Dash, Cyne, and Jaxon. There were some things out of left field like , but I'm actually really looking forward to the next book. I really want to see the bada** Evie again in future books, the one that didn't cower from anyone in book one. I really missed her here. And it would be nice if more attention was paid to her safety after the fact. So many things happened and they worried, but then they seemed to forget she almost died... More interaction with the guys because those are my favorite parts But you can also tell a lot of time was spent on building the hierarchy of this world. I found that really interesting and I'm excited to see where that goes.

Sooo... it's still too short, I don't like it but I kind of want to see what happens next.
And is it me or the first book was kind of useless in the end? And what about the setting, they got all the technology but have serious out-dated thinking.

I can’t believe I don’t have date for the next book. I can’t say I’m impressed with the whole concept of memory loss, that is just an over used approach, but aside from that angle I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, so let us hope I notice when the next book is available.

"I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own."

I really enjoyed the first novella of The Souja Guild, but Foreseen takes this story to a new level of fantastic. This is a 'stay up all night reading' kind of book. It's a well-written, original, imaginative book. The world building is immense, so detailed. We also get to know several of the Shadewolf Kaveri better.

The book picks up where Precursor left off, followed by a year time jump. Evie's memories are still wiped. Weeks away from her 18th birthday Evie finds herself being relocated to the campus of the Souja Guild along with most of her father's resistance camp. Once on campus she is singled out among the human's and offered opportunities that even many of the Surmata don't have. She is also coming into contact with the Shadewolf Kaveri continuously. I loved that she got to meet each member for the first time again. It's not often that a person gets a redo!

Evie is a wonderful lead female. She's a lovely blend of intelligence, naiveté, kindness, and "normal" bravery. Her open-mindedness is refreshing, especially considering her upbringing. She has a spirit that can't be easily broken. Her best friend Max and his bond Caleb get lots of attention in this book. They have the sweetest relationship and I loved the exchanges between them and Evie. They bring such vulnerability. The Kaveri consist of Jaxon, Xander, Aaron, Jaoel, Dashiel, and Cyne. We got to know more about most of the men. Dash and Cyne most of all. Yummy, yummy. I love that they both fell to their desires for a brief moment. I also love Cyne's nicknames. He's absolutely adorable. I look forward to Evie's 18th, the Kaveri getting all sorted out, learning more about the guys, and watching this group relationship grow. The chemistry is hot, but the level of caring and protectiveness is equally appealing.

We learn much more about the Surmata in this book. The layered detailing of their beings adds to the story. There is still so much more to learn. The mystery around the demon plans on Earth especially concerning the Surmata, Evie and her importance grows. This book has a perfect blend of suspense and danger, normal college activity, and relationship building. My only complaint about the book concerns Evie's gift. I love the gift and it's potential, but it seemed to come out of nowhere. It felt like I missed a puzzle piece along the way.

A.J. Anders has created an amazing story world with this series. I highly recommend it and can't wait for the next book to be released. I can see that they are going to keep getting better and better!

Wonderful Story!

If paranormal RH romance is a genre you enjoy this story is amazing! It brings you into the characters lives. Making you understand a totally different people without over simplifying. A J Anders has invented a complex realm and characters that streched my imagination and made me care for them as if they were real! Got my heart beating for sure! Yes there are some precursors to the steamy scenes the characters are gearing up to that are pretty steamy themselves! I enjoyed it very much!!!

I wasn't as crazy about this one compared to the first. I hate memory stuff and it wasn't resolved in this book. One of the guys is a jerk - that's explained later, I suppose, but it's annoying why the main character doesn't get more angry about it before she knows it (Or lets the reader know). It's more a filler book to the third because of the build-up but nothing is really resolved, other than getting away from that horrible father (yech)

Loved this book!!!

I absolutely adore the characters! Evie is perfect - she can make silly mistakes which is normal but doesn't overdo it, most of the time the choices she makes is a smart one. Love this girl! She's aces. Even though she kept her power a secret, when she needed to tell the guys she did without backing out. She may be young but she doesn't act like it and is mature beyond her years. I absolutely loved the moment she gave it to Cammie and held her own, she didn't cower away like you would kind of expect from her character in that situation - what she came out with was brilliant. . I couldn't have said it better myself! A big double thumbs up to the AJ Anders for the sass. The boys are amazing!!!!! I don't think I even have a favourite, which usually by now I would with these types of books and I would want the MC to be with only them. . .but with this series, I want her to be with all of them! I would have liked her to have more scenes with Aaron and Xander because I want to get to know them more but I'm sure that will happen in the next book.

Both book 1 and 2 are soo well written, I was glued to my seat and read them in a day! This book gives the reader a fresh take on the supernatural world and the fact that they go to university which I don't think I have ever read before - or if they do, they go to a human university, not one that is specifically designed for them - was great to read. As someone who has a mouth like a trucker it was pretty damn sweet to read so much cussing in the book, but it's done well and when it's needed, only adding to the moment and it suits the boys personalities. I feel as if I already know what Evie is and am waiting to see if I'm right. It kind of seemed pretty obvious to me but then again that could just be a ploy to trick us and she turns out to be something completely different! The kissing scenes. . .wow and the dream with Jaxon. . . oh my god! Loving it all. . . I need more!!

The only thing I didn't like was that the book ended and now I have to wait ever so patiently for the next one to be released. . . I've only just finished it and I'm already feeling like I can't wait till #3 comes out!!

Bring on Book 3!

Ugh-more, AJ Anders! I want more!

That's really the only complaint I have about this one. Which isn't much of a complaint, but we were just getting to the good stuff! This book covers a little under a week of storyline (after a time-hop in the beginning). It's the nature of a series like this for the story to have loose ends, but I do feel like the story was really just getting going when it ended somewhat abruptly. This is one of those series that I'm loving so much, but almost wish I hadn't discovered it until it was complete so I could just read it start to finish - which is a compliment!

AJ Anders once again did an amazing job transporting me into a new world. The world she's created feels very well developed, as does Evie's character. I still don't really feel like I know all the guys - and in fact had to go back to the book just now to figure out who I was missing - but they are certainly better developed now than they were at the end of Precourser, so I still have confidence that they will become clearer as the story moves on.

Dash and Cyne are pretty solidified in my mind at this point - and I feel like this book spent the most time and energy on them in terms of relationship development. Xander and Jaxon are semi-developed (Although they seem very similar to me, so maybe I'm confusing them in some cases?). Jaoel is very distinct due to his main plot point in the book , but aside from the side effects, I don't think I really got to know HIM at all, just his... ailment, shall we say? Last (but not least?) is Aaron. I feel like I know absolutely nothing about Aaron. Going back now I see that he was the history teacher, and I recall liking the history teacher, but he didn't make a lasting impression.

Bottom line? If you like an original take on a supernatural world with a strong female lead and a reverse harem love story - buy this book, read this book, you will love this book. But be warned you're going to get to the last page and go, "Noooo!! More!!"

This is Book 2 following the first novella (Precursor) and I continue to really like some of the concepts in this created world and the slow-building reverse harem, which always gives a half to a whole star on its own for me. The on-going joke of Cyne's curse was a continual source of amusement to me and I was glad to see a little bit more of the other members of the harem, though there is still a long way to go to get to know them as full-fledged characters or parts of Evie's life - so much to look forward to! I also always like in a reverse harem when at least one of the guys is resistant or antagonistic towards the heroine and that is happening here which provides nice tension. There were a couple of major things that all of a sudden occurred even though they had never been mentioned or foreshadowed previously at all and it almost seemed like they were added as an afterthought. I also found myself wishing Evie was tougher in certain scenes, and also disliked her hiding things from the guys as there is strength in asking for help when you need it. As with the novella there were some clumsy or awkwardly written sentences but the talent of the author is clear and I look forward to reading more about these characters. I know some people will complain about the ending - which is, granted, abrupt - but if there is a cliffhanger people complain and if it takes too long for the next book people complain so it doesn't bother me so much. Don't get me wrong, I'm very eager for more but anticipation is half the fun (which is why I like slow burn series like this one).

I've been waiting for this one since December and AJ Anders did not disaapoint! I totally loved it!

The book picks up roughly a year after the first one and the Sumatra is raiding the Camp. Evie, along with a couple of others, is taken to the Suoja guild for reeducation. Not that Evie needs it, just about everyone else from the Camp does. The Suoja guild is a supernatural university, mainly for the Sumatra. The way AJ Anders describes the campus and everything, I'd love to go there. Dominic, much to my displeasure, also is among those taken to the Guild, I understand it's needed and everything but I just hate the guy.

At the Suoja Guild, Evie is slowly reintorduced to her mates and some fun times reminiscent of book 1 ensue. Not only Evie is undergoing great changes at the Guild but we also see a new more open and playfull site of Max. I'm really rooting for him and Caleb and that the issues with their Mate can be resolved. Throughout the it also becomes clear that Evie's encounter with the demon in book 1 changed here in some ways we still have to discover. What totally cracked me up was Cyne's not-being-able-to-curse curse.

Aj Anders really did a great job with this one and I loved it from beginning to end and I'm looking forward to book 3. My ARC copy still had some formatting and spellling issues so I can't comment on how that turned out in the final version and I left this out in my rating and based it soley on the storytelling.

I kindly received and ARC of Forseen in exchange for an honest review.

Wow. The first book was good but this second book blows book one out of the water. This book was a read through with no stops. It grabbed my attention from page one and kept it till the end. I was so mad when i did not have any pages left to read. LOL.

The world building is fantastic and the intrigue that we see building from what occurs will keep you on the edge of your seat. I love the background on both the Demons and Sumatra that is given.

We pick up were we left off from book 1 and we are transported a year later. Evie is taken to the Sojua Guild along with others from her fathers camp after it is raided. Those that are deemed redeemable from the camp are taken to be thought the truth about the supernatural community at this college. Of course Evie still has her nemesis in Dominic here at the school and he told her what her father had planned for her. Here we see Evie start to blossom from under her fathers thumb and get to reintroduce to her mates from when she lost her memory. We also see what Evie is starting to be capable of after her interaction with the Demon from book 1.

This book gave me the little bit that for me was missing from book 1. I love Evie. She is just that right mixture for lead character for me. She has the strength of character and the gentleness needed along with the intellect to get her where she needs to be believable.

I cant wait to see what happens when Evie turns 18 due to she is off limits as a mate until that date. I love that

Compared with the the previous book "precursor " I was surprised to be disappointed with this. The story jumps and rushes through 75% of the book and only gets settled in the last 25%. It's as though AJ Anders decided they needed to start the story from scratch again but couldn't be bothered to do it right and rushed through it. There wasn't enough character development particularly of Evie. I had to rely on what I remembered from the previous story to extract her personality. She also seems to be a lot less badass in this book. Now this could be a plot tool but because this book is so short I feel unhappy and unsatisfied with a heroine that I adored before but now appears weak and insecure and much too preoccupied with her crushes. If there is any advice I can offer to AJ Anders it would be to refocus Evie's character. I would love to find out more about the rebellious comic that Evie has a hand in supplying information about Surmata, Or her history refusing to be a mentor and the repercussions from that. There's is so much potential with this story but so far it is not delivering anything satisfying. If you are going to continue supplying this story in instalments at least let it be available on kindle unlimited so that the readers don't end up discarding this story half way through.

Finally I really liked the characters Inian and Valhar - I can't wait to see more interactions like this and more action (and plot) evolving the issues between races.

I was looking forward to this book so much after reading Precursor, and while the story is really good it did fall a bit short of my expectations. The world that Anders creates is really interesting and the reader gets a lot more explanations about how that world works in this book, which helped to answer some of my questions from Precursor. We also get to see Evie develop her relationships with the Shadewolf Kaveri more in this book. In Precursor we only really see her interact with Cyne and Dashiel, but in this book we also get a lot of Jaxon and Jaoel, though we still barely see Xander and Aaron. Anders also begins some plot lines that will be interesting as the series develops, but she misses out on capitalizing on the cliffhanger from Precursor by skipping forward in time by a year. A lot of the conflict that was established at the end of that book, like Evie's father forcing her to date Dominick and graduate from fledgling to mentor, are downplayed or forgotten about in Forseen. This book also ended in a weird spot for me. It seemed like just as the story was established and there was a clear plot line to explore, the book was over. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series, though, because I think the storyline has a lot of promise.

All I can say is that I was useless to the real world as I read AJ Anders second Suoja Guild series book Forseen. My head and heart were with Evie and her six sexy Kaveri, as they were fighting to keep their world together, from the evil supernaturals and infected humans.
Forseen starts were Precursor ends. Max has to tell Evie's unknown Kaveri that when he took her memories of her attack from the demon, he took away to much. "She's (Evie) like a blank slate when it comes to us (Evie's best friend Max and her six bond mates Kaveri)."
Dashiel goes to his leaders for help, thinking that Evie will be back to normal by tomorrow, when he is told there is nothing to be done and they need to stay away from her. When her father's camp is attacked, a year later, Evie is protected by Max and sent to the Suoja Guild, to be educated about the Surmata and other paranormals. As Evie fight's through the unknown reason of desire she feels from her six Kaveri, the physical assaults from humans and demons, she has to face the truth about her new powers.
I cannot wait for the third book to be released. My imagination is going wild!

I love this storyline and I really like all the characters. This is a very interesting and exciting plot with lots of potential. Overall, it's a very good story and you can tell the author was really thoughtful when writing the story. I totally connect with the characters and I want to know more about them and their abilities. Unfortunately, I have to agree with many of the other reviews. Book 2 did not reach its maximum potential. Evie appeared to be an entirely different character. Her personality from book 1 was non existent in book 2. Also, she got almost kidnapped back to back in the exact same way within minutes of each other and reacted the exact same way. I wanted to see the kick ass girl from book 1 take down her attacker but that didn't happen. I agree also the ending was very abrupt. I would like to see more interaction with the guys and see the relationship develop in an organic way. . I still like the characters and the story and want to continue to see how the story develops. I will definitely continue with this story because in spite of the minute flaws, it's just that good!

This second book in the series was a great continuation. We get to see how the ending from book one changes Evie's life and sets her on a path towards so much more than what she had planned for her life. She's happy for the change and it's clear that she is somehow meant to do important things. I really loved the interactions she gets to have with the Shadewolf Kaveri. Cyne and Dash have more chemistry with her at first but then you can see how each one falls for her . I'm glad we also see some sort of progress with Max and Caleb and their Soul mate Cammie. Though I have to say Cammie is a bitch and hopefully whatever is going on gets fixed. I just can't get over how awesome this book was, I seriously could not put it down and I just never wanted it to end. I am now currently dying to see how this story plays out. There's still so much to learn and with all the questions we had from Book one, some were answered but more were thrown in. Now that's not a bad thing, it just makes me want more. In the words of Cyne "Son of a biscuit eater!"

Foreseen! My heart breaks everytime Evie is with the guys.
After the ending Precursor, it was a mystery on what is going to happen with Evie's life. There is a hidden sadness felt everytime Evie meets the Shadewolf Kaveri because you know a part of her life she doesn't know exists. A.J. Anders has done very well to bring about this hidden emotion. Foreseen is like reading the first book of a series, because you are being introduced to everyone again.
There is a very great change between the Evie in Precursor and the Evie in Foreseen. It shows how the bond between Max and Evie changed Evie's personality. I love the friendship between Max, Caleb and Evie. They are not romantically involved, and their friendship is beautiful. The trust building that starts from scratch is great to see. And now a new plot! Wow! I even admire the way the side characters like Inian are threaded into the story, and their importance is showcased clearly. I have so much to say about this book, but a long review can get a bit tedious to read.
Can't wait for book #3.

I voluntarily read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Evie gets her dream! She gets to study at the Souja Guild even though it's under the guise of being reeducated. She was taken as a "prisoner" after the Surmata raided the Resistance camp. She doesn't remember who Max truly is or of meeting his bond mates. While at the guild, she takes classes on Surmatas, demons, and a special self study class. She meets Max's bond mates and wonders why she feels something different towards some of them. She is still seventeen when she starts at the Souja Guild so the guys are not putting any pressure on her. I love a slow building romance! She finds out a few discoveries about herself that help with the Surmata fight against the demons. I finished this book with a better understanding of how this World works and why some characters in the books have been acting a certain way. I recommend reading the Precursor first so that you can understand why the characters are acting the way they are.

I love the world AJ has created and I think she has a great story to tell. I had a hard time getting into the first chapter. The overlap from the previous book and then the time jump did not flow as well as the rest of the book to me, so I struggled for that chapter. But after that, the book kept me up in the night so I could finish. Which actually might be my other problem, the ending came abruptly and seemingly out of nowhere. I was shocked when it was over. It did not end on a cliff hanger, but definitely left the reader wanting more. The heat level was about the same as Precursor and it was written very well. Towards the end it ramped up the heat a lot faster than I would have preferred for the second book, but I'm sure others will like it. It just felt a little out of place in the story.

Overall, my review is really more of 3.5 stars. It had the potential to be 4, but the things I mentioned were a big drawback to me.

An interesting direction for The Souja Guild series. This second installment is full of information about the different beings and also on Evie. I enjoyed the read, learning more about the characters, meeting new ones, and seeing depth added. Some of the questions I had from book 1 weren’t answered and now I don’t expect they will be. I wish there was more action to the story but I enjoyed what did happen and her moments with her boys. It’s also a quick read. I was hoping it would be longer. Her gift felt like it came out of nowhere and I wished there was a little more blending and hints at what she could see and her research to figure out exactly what it was that she was seeing. I’ll definitely read the next installment for this series. The world is too new and different to pass up on and I love all the characters she created. Max is still one of my favorite, and the scenes with the Shadewolf boys were great.

I received a free advanced reader copy of this book and voluntarily decided to review it

The second book in the series and I am still loving it. It continues where the first book left off. There is action and adventure, we get to know both Evie and the boys a little better, things come to light and there are more questions arising.

I got lost into the story and the pages flew by far too quickly, I was so immersed into the story I was devastated when I got to the end because it was finished!!! I am very eagerly awaiting book three, it did not end on a cliff hanger but I am left wanting more, which to me is a great thing.

I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it but you do really need to read book one first. I am not going to say anymore in case I inadvertently leave a spoiler, but the book is awesome

I received an ARC of Foreseen in exchange for an honest review.

I did a happy dance when this baby landed in my email and then squealed when it loaded on my kindle. I was so happy that we didn't have to wait long for the second book in the series to be released.

I loved this book just as much as I loved the first. Even the THIRD POV.

I love this series so much. I love the characters (especially Dash and Cyne: I love them a lot), i love the plot and story line. What I love most about it though is the mystery behind it all. The mystery behind what Evie is. Reading this book I learned so much about the magical beings and I have my own theories as to what Evie could be but I'm gonna have to wait to see if my theories matches the authors imagination.

I can't wait to see where the next book takes us.

I read the previous book as a part of an anthology that was published and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have been waiting for this book to be published to read more of the story and the wonderful world and characters that AJ has created. I was not disappointed. The world she has created is full of magic and challenges and hope and strength of character.

I have to say, I love books and movies where the female lead is strong and vital and saves the day. Evie is just such a character. She has not left the challenging life she has had get her down but has used it to build her self up into a strong and compassionate woman. She is given a "gift" that, once she understands, she uses to help save lives. Her character is also level headed and not some vapid character.

I highly recommend this book series. You will become just as addicted!! Wonderful!

I was so excited to read book 2 in the Souja Guild. And it was longer! I enjoyed that the story has progressed and we learned more about the Surmata, the Supernatural world abd everything it entails. We also learn what makes Evie, Evie and what her memory loss has caused and she meets the guys all over again! And I'm so looking forward to more on that front!

But while some things moved slow. I felt some things were a little rushed or glossed over. I also wished Evie was a little tougher or at least a little less clumsy. I mean, i2f she's trained well and she's good at fighting, good enough to be advanced wouldn't she be a little more graceful on her feet and a little less accident prone? Or is she supposed to be just unlucky sometimes?

Need More

I started with the first book in this series which is novella length. This review is for both books.

I really enjoyed the world created by this author and the writing was good. My only issue is that after 350 - 400 pages, I didn't get enough. What I read was great and kept me interested but it feels like I just got the first third of a book. I know not to expect a complete story with all threads tied up at the end when reading an incomplete series but usually I feel somewhat satisfied along with anxiousness for the next book to be released. Since both the plot and relationship development were so slow, I only feel anxious. For lovers of RH, I absolutely recommend these books however I would encourage you to wait until there are more books in the sreies unless you can be happy with only a taste.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

This book was amazing and definitely a step up from the first one. The development of the characters progressed at a better pace. This book just keeps getting better. Cyne was my favorite guy in this book. He is hilarious. Evie grows in the book. She has more insight in this book. The book provides great insight into the series to come. I can't wait for the next book. The great upside to this book was that it was longer than the first one. There was only one critique. This is that the book had a significant time jump. The jump did not go smoothly and flow in the book. I would definitely recommend to read this book, especially if you read the first one.
