We are led right back into the action with this one! There was a bit of a time jump to begin with. However, it was explained well along with the "reason" behind it. It threw me off momentarily but the story flowed well with it.
The time jump definitely served it's purpose in allowing the story to move on significantly and not become stagnant.

** I was kindly given an arc in exchange for an honest review.
I will be honest, I liked the first one better. There is a large time jump in the beginning which effected the flow of the story and failed to tie up the loose ends we were left with from Precursor. There is also a rather abrupt ending ( not a cliffhanger don't panic ). I thought my kindle had had a melt down and checked it twice before i realised that was the actual ending. We find out something about Evie halfway through that just ...more

The second book in the Souja Guild series is a hot and exciting read. I loved getting to know Evie better, and can't wait to find out what happens next, now that so many secrets have been revealed. There's a lot that happens in this book, so read it when you're fresh, and not feeling drowsy. You'll finally see the beginnings of a Reverse Harem forming, and there are scenes that I would definitely recommend you read somewhere private ;)

The second installment in the Suoja Guild Series did not disappoint! I was glad to see more of the other characters that were introduced in the first book get more content in this one allowing the reader to see more of their personalities. I did find a few things in the story seemed to be a bit rushed or events that just seemed like they came out of nowhere, but it didn't deter me from enjoying reading the book as the storyline and characters still remain interesting for my taste.

Another good book by A.J. Anders! If there was an option of 4.5 stars this book would have gotten it from me. It lost a star because some of the the plot twists have become much more predictable than in the first book. However, it is still a good read and once I started I couldn't put it down. I finished it in one sitting. It was a great Mother's Day present to myself! Now for the long wait for the next book...:(

While I've read conflicting reviews panning the second book for being not quite as enthralling as the first, I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree.
We start off with a year-long prologue segued into your college fitting in, here's some hot guys storyline. Except it builds off the mythology of the first book and fleshes it out some, leaving me wanting to know more (and with more fervor than at the end of the first book). It had a good flow, mildly inconsistent MC (but she's dealing with some st ...more

Ending is abrupt
I'm really loving this series but the ending are so abrupt , they just just stop with no indication. It's a bit jarring, but other than that I'm really into it and can't wait for book three to come out, this poor girl has constantly got people messing with her and screwing with her memories! ...more
