I wanted to like this book. To love it, really. An Italian Jack the Ripper? Yes, please! Unfortunately, I didn't start to enjoy the book until the last quarter or so. The telling of the crimes was pretty boring and a little confusing. The author takes you back and forth in time. Introduces so many people it's hard to keep some of them straight. I read a fair amount of true crime but this is one of the few times I was bored in the reading of what happened. So many times I thought about not finish ...more
