"It was like a beautiful dream, Tessa said gravely, but she smiled when she said it, which surprised her. "I know you feel inhuman, and as if you are set apart, away from life and love, but....."His voice cracked a little, the first time Tessa had heard him sound unsure. He cleared his throat. "I promise you, the right man won't care."

I loved, loved, loved this book.
Although I'm not sure if it's just me or the guy in the cover kinda looks like Edward. His hair is very Edward-ish Ha Ha.
The Story was set in the year 1878, and if you haven't read the MI series, then you might want to read the vocabs below to further understand this review.

Dark, Victorian, Shadowhunter-y goodness!
Tessa Gray is an intelligent, book-loving heroine with a coveted (and creepy) supernatural ability. Although she is new to the world of Shadowhunters and Downworlders, she has an observant nature and does not shy away from asking questions, so she manages to learn quite a lot about their world very quickly. Aside from her newly-discovered talent, Tessa is a fairly typical 19th century young woman. She is much more comfortable quoting Dickens than she is ...more

this story couldn't have been any better than what i thought it was going to be. Tessa is a very courageous, strong girl. she wasn't afraid to do something that was right. though, my favorite character in the story was Jem. he was a very sweet and caring boy. i enjoyed his view on certain things. Will, on the other hand, is complete opposite of Jem. very mysterious, and says things without thinking. he is hiding something i can tell, but what it is? i have no clue. he does care for Tessa, i thin

It a great book to read. that i've read the mortal insterments series this was just as good. when i got to the last page i almost cried and said something on the lines of "NO THAT CAN'T BE THE END", yeah something like that. Anyway i love the love triangle is amazing, i love both Will and Jem but i think i like Will alittle bit more. Maybe it's the Herondale thing. lol
Will it a good book, so good that i think i'll read it again. ...more

Loved it! I wasn't sure if i would enjoy Clockwork Angel quite as much as I did the Mortal Instruments Series, however Clare worked her magic and I am entranced. With it's own twists and surprises you don't feel as if it is an extension of Mortal Instruments, it has its own sustenance. Highly recommend this book.
