What Members Thought
To be fair, The Mortal Instruments is one of my favorite series ever, and after wanting this book to come out for so long, I may have held it to an impossible standard. That said, while I enjoyed this book, I do not feel the same spark I did when I first read City of Bones. While I love the character of Jem, I do not feel as strongly about the other characters nor the storyline. I do believe there is more to the series and am a committed fan of Ms. Clare, so I will continue with the series, but

oh no...with MI it was so obvious Clary was meant for Jace...in this book its so hard to choose between Jem and Will! i feel like i'm betraying either one when i do! Jem seems more of a sensitive type while Will is basically Jace incarnate XDD
