I didn't like the first one nearly as much as I love this book. I think Tessa is a great heroine. She is a lot like Clary in a way. I really like her, she is sweet, brave and her power is awesome.
I can't believe Will thought he was cursed. That anyone who loved him would die. Poor thing wasted 5 years of his life over a lie. And now that Jem is going to marry Tessa, Will is broken hearted. I really like Jem, but I want Tessa to be with Will.

Much better than I thought it would be. It didn't fall victim to the "sequel syndrome" as many do. There is still much of the funny banter that all of Cassie Clare's books have. There was one part that made me cringe(Believe me, you will know what I mean. Ughh... Why???), but really enjoyable.

This book is my favorite of the series so far! It kept me hooked all the way through and even made me cry at parts. I think if you haven't started the infernal devices series or the mortal instruments you should start immediately.

absolutely loved this book.. Cassandra clare definitely did not disappoint.. all her books have been a pleasure to read, and i look forward to continuing the adventure with her next books.
Wow...this is such an AMAZING book. I could not put it down. I can't believe I have to wait till 2013 to read the next Clockwork Princess (The Infernal Devices #3).
