I got this for Christmas in 2010 and I've just now read it. Mostly, that was because I started it in March, but I didn't like how it started, so I put it aside. I knew it was going to fall victim of the Sequel Slump (where the main characters, like, omg, can't be togethurrrr) and I really hate when books do that just to further the plot. This managed to pull it off alright, in that even though they weren't together, Patch still kept cropping up, but still.

Let me start by saying I love this series! My only problem with Crescendo was that it was slow to start. I was pretty bored until about half way through. However, after I hit the half way point I was unable to put the book down. I was up till 4am last night finishing this book! I had NO idea who the "Black Hand" was! I was shocked yet thrilled because I know the next book is gonna be awesome! I absolutely LOVE Vee! She is my favorite character in this book. She cracks me up and her loyalty to No
