This was really really good, I can't quite give it a 4 though...eehhh...I think. I don't know, I need to think about it. Definitely a 3.5 at least. How this world becomes what it is makes sense, but I just can't see this actually happening, so it doesn't put as much fear in me as 1984. I also don't love the very last chapter, it kind of takes away my connection to the main character and makes the whole book seem technical and far away. Which may have been the point, but I didn't love it.

i don't know how i feel about this, the whole thing was like a future looking glass to what's going to happen to women in my country if those fanatic islamic groups so called ansar sharia took over, i was waiting for a revolution or something but at the end it was just the idea of a rebellion. ...more
