My step-son brought this to me to read. He had no idea what he handed me. My own precious dog had just died (not from age or illness but too much to share in a review). I was holding up and moving on when I started this poignant book. I was in tears the moment I opened it--doubting I could finish it. But I did and I was touched by this book. This is easily one of my favorite books and I loved the approach by the author.
