I finally got around to reading it! This book was fantastically written. The five year old narration was very believable. I was actually impressed with how well she told the story and how she managed to keep the reader engaged. That is a great feat when you are writing from the perspective of a five year old boy. The only reason why I read this book was out of curiosity. The mom and the kid trapped inside a small room may really catch your attention especially because you're pretty clueless on why are they trapped on the first part of the book. I liked the fact that despite the light manner of how the book was written, the author boldly described a mother's love for her son unconditionally despite their condition and where the kid came from.
