GAH when mood reading works against me. This is a well written, fascinating book but I'm not in a 'plot-fight-plot-oh no!' mood right now. Glad to know I can come back to it when such a mood strikes because, wow. So well done.

This book was phenomenal.
So humans have left behind a dying Earth and are terraforming a new planet. They have tech that will speed up evolution and plan to use it on monkeys to make some new intelligent people. But there's a bit of a mix up and instead of monkeys they make giant intelligent.... SPIDERS!
