What Members Thought
I read this first a long time ago. The Coppola movie is more in my mind since I have seen it many times. In re-reading I once again remember how much of this was changed. Though I am a fan of the movie, I like the book better. I like when books take a unique approach to storytelling and the use of letters, journal entries, etc serves well in this purpose. It did take a long time to read, but it was well worth it.
