Classic Gaiman. Not his best work, not it worst. It's a sad and lovely story with very familiar characters. He does love his triple goddesses.
I'm in between liking and loving the book - I went for just liking because the main plot is only so-so. The magic is in the non-questing moments in that house by the ocean.

Bizarre... Not my cup of tea at all. I liked American Gods because I felt like there was some beautiful passages in it, but this one was just too weird. It's short. If you are a sci-fi-ish person, you might appreciate it a little more than I did.

This was a very interesting story, almost bizzare but I really loved it, one of those can't-put-down books. I did skip the part with the introduction of the worm in the story because that sort of thing is my worst nightmare.
