What Members Thought
Tom Barren lives in 2016 but in a version very different than our own. In the 1960's the Goettreider Engine was turned on and it provided a source of clean, limitless energy. Through a series of events Tom ends of traveling back in time to the day the engine was turned on and changes the timeline so we end up in the 2016 we all recognize. The book has an interesting premise. It does get repetitive in spots and I thought the chapters recapping the previous block of the story were unnecessary. Tom

If you love a twisty, twiny futuristic mind-blowing story, look no further. I listened to this book in my car and it kept me enraptured for hours. This was fun!
A decent time-travel novel, albeit long-winded at times. Some good food for thought.
