I loved this. McCullers has an uncanny ability to write from the perspective of smart, honest adolescent girls who are just beginning to find their place. Mick is just as wonderful as Frankie in The Member of the Wedding. I was surprised to find that McCullers could also write three-dimensional adult men - and four different ones!
