Adventurous and fun! The perfect two words to describe this book. Always building momentum and getting quirkier as it goes. The story of Thursday Next is wonder. She is a strong yet emotional lead character. She has a crazy uncle and a father who comes in and out of her life. The reimagined England is fun. Thursday's father is part of the chronoguard who travel time to fix time crimes and time storms. Thursday is part of the literatec's who fight literary crimes. Inventive premise, but average writing and ending is a hasty mess. Writers, do you not realize how important endings are? Take your time with them.
