As soon as I started downloading Landline, I felt some regret. I don't like cheesy hetero romance. I don't like lengthy descriptions of boys' eyelashes and shoulders and things. By all accounts, I shouldn't like Rowell's books.
But the magical realism is fun and the dialogue is great and Rebecca Lowman's audiobook narration is amazing. So I enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected to.

3.5. It was a bit slow-paced, as I've found all her books to be. It was heartwarming regardless and extremely sweet. Also, I didn't really get the Camio. I know where it was in the book but it was so subtle that I'm questioning my guess as to who the couple is supposed to be, even though it can't seem to be anyone else. SOMEONE TELL ME.

I really liked Rowell's other books but this one had me wanting to smack the main characters.

Одна з моїх улюблених книг. Дуже чуттєва та життєва історія з елементами фентезі.
Стосунки - це складно. А якщо раптом щось у людей не так, то дуже важко все налагодити, якщо не розмовляти про це.
