UGH! I am so torn on this book. There were some parts that were REALLY great. They sucked you in, they were interesting in new way. And then there was the rest of the book. I feel like it took a while to pick up and it was just some sappy romance at the beginning. The conversations between the characters were predictable and just blah. The plot was good at times but I felt like the book just dragged on, repeating itself in several places. I will give the ending props though, it was a nice tie in

The first half of this book was four star worthy - it left me going "what the heck?" in the best sort of way. But then the plot moves on and I started to lose interest. It's still a good summer read and I'll probably read the next book if I get back in the mood for sci-fi medical horror.
