Too long and I was so relieved when it was over. Some good magical realism but I lost the main thread of the story. 2.5*
This may actually be a 5 star read, but I am going to give myself a little time to digest.
I found myself completely engrossed in this novel. I started it before going to bed and before I knew it, it was 4:00 in the morning and I was making coffee and still reading. I did not want to step away from the story lines within these pages.
