REREAD 5/1/24
I read this again because I really wanted to finish the series and I didn't remember a lot hat happened in this book. I still really enjoyed it and I'm happy to get reacquainted with the characters again. I still loved them all
I have been reading a bunch of really good books. It makes me so excited and keeps me wanting more and more. I have books to read before I can pick up the next book in this series but I will start The Dream Thieves very soon. I loved the psychic women in this ...more

4.5/5. Maaaay end up being 5/5 after I think on it a bit more.
This book contains all sorts of paranormal awesomeness. It also gave me lots of feels.
I very much understand now why so many people are in love with these characters. Now I am, too.

I did not like this book at first, but it grew on me. The characters are a bit out of central casting. Blue is the only nonpsychic in a family of seers. All her life she's been told that if she kisses her true love, he will die. As the book opens, Blue sees the ghost of a young man named Gansey. Since she's not supposed to be able to see the dead, this means either he's her true love or she killed him. Gansey is the stereotypical rich boy in a prep school, sure that he can get whatever he wants

I really liked her "Wolves of Mercy Falls" series, and this one was just as interesting. It was focused on ley lines, psychics, magic and mythology. It was interesting and fun with a great twist that actually surprised me. I'm curious to know what will happen next, so I will definitely be reading the next one. My only complaints would be about the constant use of the phrase "raven boys", it got old pretty quick, and the over use of "Aglionby boys". First of all, I have no idea how to even pronou
