I don't know about this book, I didn't love it. But I rarely love any book that follows a ton of hype. I should really learn to stay away from them. :)

I've always admired authors who write mystery thrillers. Fitting in all the little details that someone will catch on to if they're reading closely, but they're likely to miss until they all add up in the end. Flynn is a master of this. First off, fantastic book.

It starts, and seems as though it will be pretty predictable. A woman goes missing, her husband seems a likely suspect and can provide no alibi, even for readers, for where he was at the time, until his secret girlfriend is revealed. I was really surprised by this novel which took me on twists and turns that I never saw coming (which doesn't happen very often). Not for everyone as the author gives you characters who are not very likable, but that did not keep me from turning the page. ...more

The book was predictable to me. I liked how the author tried to write with twists. The book reminded me of a couple I knew way back that was so dysfunctional. I actually think this book will make a better movie compared to book.
