wow. and I mean wow. A reality you don't want to think about.
storking....unwinding...tithing...it's all just so horrific, I just want to assume and imagine that it could/would NEVER happen. Right, it would never happen?!?!

Neal Shusterman's books have been in my TBR pile for a long time. When this book came up for a reading challenge/monthly read, I couldn't pass it up. And, for me anyway, this book is so ridiculously good, it's hard to write a review that can justify my feelings towards this book, or that can do it justice. Unwind is one possible idea of what the future of organ donation and the future could be like. The Prochoice and Prolife activists have come to the decision that abortion is illegal but between the ages of 13 and 18 there parents can get then unwind. Unwinding is the name of donating 100 percent of the body. But when 100 percent of you is still alive, are you?



This story follows the story of three teenagers facing this horror. Connor is just a normal teenager who is trying hard to get is grades

Really good! The world-building wasnt complete, but what we saw was interesting, and really drew me in. The characters were great, and even the ones we didnt see fleshed out much were intriguing. The story gave me lots to think about, and didn't do it in a preachy way. The unwind process near the end wasn't gory at all, but so gut-wrenching, if it were gorier it may have made it easier to just brush off its message - this hit the balance just right.
