This book started out so good!! A Harry Potter type "going to magic school" instead of university - so older protagonists. I liked the world and the characters - fun seeing the different methods of magic, etc... but then....there was no point (no goal for the main protagonist), no antagonist (at least HP had Voldemort), nothing after they graduated (view spoiler) It didn't keep my interest and I stopped reading about 65% of the way.

I struggled to finish this. None of the characters are likeable especially Quentin. Reading this made me think that the author really hates women!
