Have you read The Maze Runner ? I strongly recommend that if you haven't read the Maze Runner yet then don't read this book first or the review as parts you won't understand and others might ruin the The Maze Runner storyline for you. This novel picks up right where Book 1 left off, unfortunately so did Dashner's mediocre writing style and lack of description. Still, there is enough in the plotline to keep my interest. I like that characters may not necessarily be who they seem and it keeps you guessing. We learn a little more about the post-apocalyptic world and get snippets of what WICKED is and how Thomas and Teresa are involved, but not quite enough for it to make sense. the premise. was good but the delivery lacking. I got tired of the author constantly having the main character retell what had happened previously. the book ends with a whole lot of unanswered questions. loved maze runner this one not so much
