I think the synopsis is a disservice to this story. So very little of this story centers around love. The synopsis makes it sound like it's a romeo and juliet re-telling and it's not.
This story is about survival.
Two spaceships left a failing earth. One with high religious Christians on board, the other with many faiths and many who did not practice. Years later, after a fertility scare, the "other" space ship has managed to have kids. The Christian ship, not so much.

First impressions: Heart-pumping action gets things moving right away in this sci-fi space adventure. Waverly's ship, the Empyrean, comes under attack almost immediately, just as she's trying to navigate the pressures of her boyfriend Kieran's proposal.
