June & Day. Metias and John. Eden & Tess.
Just an amazing cast of characters flood this story of adventure through a Dystopian underworld filled with plague, death, spies and love.

I instantly loved Day. He's the dystopian Peter Pan - stealing from the rich in order to feed, care and protect the poor. But his actions aren't all 'for the good of all'.

June has grown up sheltered and fed political propaganda. She's a soldier, through and through - trained to fulfill a command from any higher officer ...more

Omg I so loved this story told from two different young teens. A boy name Day living on the poor side as June living as a Prodigy due to her test scores that's giving by the republic.

Days a criminals on the run. But it gets worst when June's big brother is killed and Day's to blame for it so June is sent to track Day down.

Good book lots of action, deception, love and secrets.
Can't wait to read part 2. ...more

Shelves: ya, dystopian

Legend is a YA dystopian novel told from the POV's of June and Day. June is a military prodigy being trained in strategy and command for the novel's futuristic government set in the western US. Day is an independent rebel fighting the big-brother regime.

What I enjoyed about this novel is that June, the girl, was the one being trained for military command and can kick some butt. I also liked that Day as a male took the time care for and take in a younger girl found on the streets and still look ...more
