This is my 2nd Cassandra Clare book and it may be my last. I was actually excited to read this book after a fun story in book 1. But, it quickly spiraled into an immature love triangle with everybody acting like utter wankers. Not a single character in this book feels real. Every single villain has zero redeeming characteristics as if people (even villains) are so simple. The story did not progress at all. The characters had zero character development. This book starts off with a great quote from A Tale of Two Cities which was not only ironic but very funny. Like the rest of Clare's novels there is no main narrator and the story is not told from one single persons point of veiw but multiple. You finally find out the reasonings behind Will's cold actions. There is a crazy twist in the middle that will take you by surprise. The love triangle in this story is seriously rampped up but you know exactly who Tessa will pick in the end.
