This is my 2nd Cassandra Clare book and it may be my last. I was actually excited to read this book after a fun story in book 1. But, it quickly spiraled into an immature love triangle with everybody acting like utter wankers. Not a single character in this book feels real. Every single villain has zero redeeming characteristics as if people (even villains) are so simple. The story did not progress at all. The characters had zero character development.
