This book features a very determined, strong protagonist that I liked quite a bit. I enjoyed how the world was divided into factions and the premise of the story. This first book is all set up for what's to come in future volumes - there is a LOT of fighting/training scenes - about 50% of the book was prep and the ending was super rushed and not very believable - which was too bad since I liked what was happening with the climax - finally a reason for her being different and for what they were t
