Overall likeaable, though several things seemed off to me in this one. The pacing, for starters—I don't want to see action scenes every three pages, but I think some parts should've been cut, as they don't bring anything to character development. I also wonder about the catastrophe at the end: plot-wise, it seemed to rely on a complete random chain of events, and while it was actually logical, I would've liked seeing how exactly, and at which moment, the odds were turned and everything went down

4.5 Stars. Interesting book, but it seemed to open more possibilities than closing outstanding items.

Wow... what an ending. Dimitri... Adrian... poor Adrian with all those raw emotions. LOL And Rose... my gods.

Still reeling from the death of Mason from the previous book, Rose is facing her last year before graduation, and what a year it will be.
This book is a roller-coaster with so many things going on. We have ghosts, political intrigue, love triangles, forbidden love, unconventional powers, blood battles and unexpected death. I have to admit I have a hard time summarizing the events without putting out spoilers, but let me just say, the book left me slightly stunned.

I loved how this story was told. I cried and the end and I cannot wait for BLOOD PROMISE (I think that's the 4th book) to come out!
