This was my first Liane Moriarty book (although I have started watching Nine Perfect Strangers on Hulu) and I really enjoyed it. This was also one of those books that would've been a lot shorter if some of the characters made better decisions. Ah, well... It is also one of those books that makes me think: my family's not that dysfunctional, really.

I've seen mixed reviews, but personally I LOVED this latest from Liane Moriarty. There's still a few days to go, but this is looking like my favorite contemporary fiction novels of 2021.

Shelves: thriller-mystery-suspense, fiction, liane-moriarty, read-2021, contemporary

3.5 stars. I love me some Liane Moriarty, but this one did not land as high as I hoped it would as this was a much anticipated read for me. The dysfunction in this family was well told and I appreciate books with strong sibling dynamics. The ending just fell flat.
