I was drawn in to the Australian Outback and the mystery surrounding Cameron's death by the Stockman's grave. The pages just flew by as I couldn't wait to find out what happened to this family. The setting instantly drew you in - it was like I could feel the desolation and isolation. Family secrets abound in this fast paced novel.

The other day as I was going to sleep I thought how much I'm enjoying this read and then I realised that I'm approximately halfway but nothing much has really happened! Ha! I guess the author's prose is more enjoyable than I thought.

My sister-in-law recommended this author to me but I didn’t get a chance to read her first book. I was lucky enough to win this #arc as a giveaway from @book.happy and @flatiron_books. I was so happy when it arrived. My first ever ARC!!! 😂😂📚 .
