Shelves: urban-fantasy, 2010

This was a fast read and one I couldn’t put down. When 1AM rolled around I knew I was going to read through to the end which turned out to be 3:30. I paid for it the next day. Anyway, good start to the series.

Just saw Iron Man 2 this weekend and thought if I could play one of the characters in this movie it would be Natasha Romanoff played by Scarlett Johansson. Well this book's character topped that. Talk about timing. Will definitely need to continue the series. Gin Blanco is known by the name The Spider. She is one of the best assassins out there. She lives in a world where people can manipulate the elements via magic (known as elementals) and giants, dwarfs, and other various creatures are real. ...more
