What Members Thought

This was everything I every wanted in a tantalizing Hollywood tell-all. I’m disappointed that it was fiction and not an actual memoir.

90% of this book was amazing. But she shoots it down at the last chapters.
I cannot understand Monique's reaction to the Big Reveal. It doesn't make any sense. The alternative would have been so much worse, for everyone.
Frankly, her reaction, her actions, her words, her anger, was so absurd for me, that I almost threw this book out. It was almost GOT finale kind of reaction. :-D Almost.
I loved the last sentence, though. :-) That was very nice. :-)
BTW, if you liked this, try reading Joan Collins ...more

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was an interesting story, but went on too long. At one point I was just tired of her and you know who. The time gaps were monotonous and made the book longer than necessary. Evelyn's reason for choosing Monique to be her interviewer did shock me. I kept trying to guess the reason and am glad it wasn't obvious. The character of Evelyn was very enjoyable. I love that she lived life on her terms until the very end and truly loved her family.
