Nope, nope, nope....
So Kara moves in with her uncle who runs a museum of taxidermy animals of such.

Her and a friend wonders into a hole in the wall taking them to another world. Creepy weird place.

I don't have any words on this book. Nothing horror to me just strange. But wishing I hadn't brought this book. Nothing memorable enough. Just another world of strangeness. Blah. ...more

When I went to Lowe's last month to purchase a tree for the front yard, in desperate need of shade from the Florida sun, I stayed the fuck away from willows.

Creepy, scary, mournful things that brought to mind the uneasiness and tension of reading Algernon Blackwood's masterpiece.

Now I have Kingfisher's The Hollow Places to add to that sense of foreboding whenever I see a willow. Or possibly, a stuffed animal head.
