After reading The Hunting Party last month, I knew I had to read Lucy Foley’s latest book. I finished it a couple days ago and initially, I thought it was just okay for me. My main problem had to do with me basically hating all the characters. But then I realized that I was completely and totally absorbed in the story, specifically because the setting drew me in so completely. I really enjoyed this fast-paced thriller. Each chapter was told from the point of view of the wedding party and guests which made the action continue and made it highly readable. The ending came together with a few too many coincidences for my liking, but the pages flew by and I enjoyed the setting of the book.
