I like thrillers and I like this new contemporary style of a slow burn thriller where the crime is not as important as the story and characters, and this is what The Guest List is.

Omigosh! I LOVED this novel! It was told from multiple POV, and it jumped back and forth from the discovery of the murder and the time leading up to it. Both of these writing styles made for short chapters and kept the plotline moving very quickly. There was a slow build to the story in the beginning, getting to know the characters, their personalities and backgrounds. Everyone had secrets that were slowly coming to light, and once the plot twists started, they didn’t stop. Back to back to back,
