I absolutely LOVED this book and want everyone to read it, especially each boy and girl who has ever complained about having to go to school and learn. What a vastly privileged and different world some of us are born into compared to Malala and her friends. And yet, she made her life become privileged by standing up for her rights as a child and woman. I was impressed at the background in Pakistani politics and the history of the region of Swat, which gave context to the whole. Malala is an amazing person.
