The book ultimately fell flat for me and ended up being a struggle to finish. I found the characters uninteresting and the dialogue boring.

Last night, I decided to read this downstairs with only my dog as a company. Halfway though, I got freaked out and had to go upstairs searching for hubby's company. I finished reading in bed, in the dark, but thankful (for the first time ever) for hubby's softly snoring beside me. There's just something about this particular 'horror' ((view spoiler)) that actually scare me. And yet, I couldn't stop reading.
