Shelves: reading-with-catherine

I didn't like this as well as I have liked some of her other books. However, it is still a twisty little thriller. The ending wasn't as well crafted as I would have liked.

The orphan who comes into a large house. The family who mysteriously arrive. Who were the dead people found at the home? All great plot threads, however it just doesn't gel as well as it should.

Still a fun read. ...more

2-3 stars. What can I say? This book was one of the most psychotic, voyeuristic, murder mysteries I have ever read. I found the writing to be completely manipulative, meaning, it did everything an un-put-down-able book should do. I wanted to keep reading when I had to stop. I would think about it when I wasn’t reading it. And it wasn’t the kind of contemplating other un-put-down-able books have caused me to ponder on.
