Emoni wants to cook she loves cooking. But going for her dreams seems too hard. But with the help of her grandma being there for her she's able to not struggle too much.
Cooking is Emoni dream. Dreaming of being a chef. Able to go to Spain with her school she learns a lot more about cooking.

I loved this book. Loved the descriptions of the neighborhood, the lifestyle, and it was so real, and didn't hold anything back or give the princess happily ever after, but the realistic one.

This was a quick read, and I enjoyed the culture and recipes.
The nicknames like Babygirl and Pretty Leslie drove me nuts, and most of the minor characters were flat. I adored the grandmother but felt the father’s explanation and even Tyrone’s change were unbelievable and abrupt.
