What Members Thought
Occasionally you really want to read a book because of all the media and press around it and then you read it and you wonder what all the fuss was about. This is one of these books.
It's not a bad book. I enjoyed it. It's fun and done in an interesting format. (But how any of these guys who were in rock bands is still alive is beyond me!) But it doesn't hit me like it seemed to hit a lot of people. ...more

Reminiscent of the documentary film “Echo in the Canyon,” this story compiles interviews of fictional band members to humanize the rise of Los Angeles’s music industry in the 1970s.
This book was interesting. I thought it was interesting how it was done in a documentary type way, and everyone got to tell their story.
