A bit too much sex, drugs and rock & roll! I had a hard time settling into the story, the writing style didn't appeal to me and felt really disjointed. Didn't care for Daisy either. Nope -- not really a fan of this one and once again find myself in the minority. The writer "reveal" was clever though. ...more

I wasn't interested in this book when I first heard about it but after hearing it was not not about Fleetwood Mac I was intrigued. It isn't about Fleetwood Mac, it is a about a fictional band that hit it big in the late 1970s. If you want to think it is about the making of the 1977 album Rumours, that's up to you. The story is told decades later in a series of interviews with the band members. It was quite enjoyable to listen to the numerous voices in this well-acted audible version. I am not su ...more

I picked-up 'Daisy Jones & the Six' because of an online book club. I am happy that I decided to read the book both physically and through an audiobook. Unfortunately, my physical copy had a miss-hup, and part of the pages was not inside the book. Thanks to my decision to listen to the audiobook, I didn't miss anything from the plot. To get the full potential of the book, you need to listen while reading the book.
