What Members Thought

I just LOVED this romance. It was wonderful. Alexa, the heroine, was fantastic – smart, hilarious, and felt very real. And she EATS … she doesn’t try to eat like a bird, she actually eats food – and enjoys it. Also, it was nice to see an actual interracial couple in a romance – good ones are few and far between. I found the Alexa and Drew relationship to be really good – I like that they challenged each other and would get real with each other. It never felt trite or cutesy, yet it was CUTE (LOL

When Alexa gets stuck on a hotel elevator, she is not alone. She meets Drew and they have a few laughs and talk a while. She tells him she is there to visit her sister and he reveals that he is in town for a wedding. He discloses that his date dropped out at the last minute and that the wedding will be awkward since the bride is his ex.

I basically stuck this one out because a friend raved about it. i found it eh. There isn't really much of a story here. they have a cute meet, have a fake relationship, text, talk, have sex, do it over and over again until they become a real relationship.

3.5 stars. I have a lot of thoughts on this book. I'll have to figure out how to put them into words.
