What Members Thought
I liked the story fine, but personally I have a hard time with descriptions of super rich lifestyles. In a world where people starve I think the excess of money is gross. But that's not the book's fault. This wouldn't have been a book I would have chosen on my own, it was part of a book club challenge. I'm still deciding if I want to keep going with the series.

It was pretty good. It’s not the right book for me though. I could care less about fashion and all that stuff. I think the author put way too many details about all that stuff in. But some people do enjoy that, so that’s understandable. It was like reading a soap opera. Some of it was funny, some if it made you want to scream. Great characters, both the good ones and the bad. Not sure if I’ll read the rest in the series yet, maybe.
Super interesting and engaging, but the ending was pretty rushed. Hopefully more things are explained in the second book. Excited to see the movie!
