Omg I totally see myself rereading this when book 3 comes out later this year but hey first I must read Godsgrave. I can't wait.
Very well done. I'll admit I got tried of the footnotes but the more I kept reading the notes became less and less.
Mia wants revenge but what better way to get revenge is to go to a school for killers. This school isn't no joke. If the students not killing each other the teachers are testing them to death literary.

I feel like for the past year I've been looking for a good fantasy to immerse myself in for a while. Yet nothing has been sticking. THIS was everything I was hoping for. I can't imagine why there are so many mixed reviews. I'm glad this turned out to be an adult fantasy with just a 16-year old character. My only gripe was that I wish she were older as there's soooo much graphic sex in this book. It can be slightly cringey to remember this is a 16-year old. There was great character development,

I don't even know how to rate this. On the one hand, I couldn't stop reading for the last hundred pages or so. I mean, I was really interested in the story. On the other hand, too often the writing had me wanting to swear off reading for good. The metaphors were constant and painful. The use of claw and paw were probably in the hundreds. With how many times she pawed something out of her eyes, I'm surprised she didn't blind herself, or that her character wasn't secretly a dog. I will definitely
