Shelves: thriller

I didn't particularly enjoy her debut, The Girl on the Train, so I never actually added this book onto my tbr. Did I mention that I'm not a fan of psychological thriller? I needed this book to fit a task for a challenge so... yep, tried it by audiobook...

Firstly, there were just. too. many. characters! More than I can count on one hand. Trying to keep up when reading dead-tree version would have been hard enough but on audiobook was nigh impossible. Plus, I wasn't that engaged at the beginning e ...more

(3.5). It started slow, then it got exciting, then the end was kind of "eh." I'm not really surprised by what happened, but it was a little disappointing and there were a lot of distractions made to look like they were important. I get that that was probably the point, but they really just made it harder for me to get into the story. ...more

Shelves: thriller-suspense-mystery

This book had a few too many shifts in narrator with little variety and distinction amongst some of the voices. I kind of had much of it figured out early on, but it was a fine pool read.
