I'm not usually one to read a superhero book and I'm not sure why not - I think maybe the dominance of the Marvel movies and X-men, the millionth remake of the Spider Man movies. The exceptions are Wonder Woman and Black Panther - those movies were really good, and also original. However, my daughter handed me this one and said, "Read it, it's good." I really enjoyed Marissa's Lunar Chronicles so I shrugged and said, "Okay."

I totally loved this book. I didn't read it for so long because I thought I wouldn't like it. I loved it so much. The 2 MC were both so likeable.

Adrian he a Renegade which is a a superhero. He is the sweetest guy and has a kind way about him. He's the son of the 2 main council members. His dad's adopted him and raised him to be a Renegade.
