I read this when it first came out and for some reason never picked up the next book. I've made it a goal to read some of the older books in my tbr mountain and this series was drawn out of the hat. I'm happy it came up. I really enjoyed it, much more than i think i did the first time around. Rachel and Ivy and Jenks are a great team and i liked learning more about the denizens of The Hollows. I'm hoping Rachel grows with the next books because she was actually second fiddle to Ivy and Jenks in

This was really entertaining! Rachel is rouge witch trying to save her own life. She meets lots of interesting characters along the way and Harrison does a great job of keeping you up to date on what each is and what his/her powers are.
It was a quick read, lots of action and lots of suspense. I will definitely seek out the rest of the series!

3 stars for the slow start, but 4 stars for the ending. Reminds me of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, except paranormal and better, not as silly.
