Anna Kendrick seems like she would be cool, and this totally confirms it. Despite the awkwardness or the 'scrappy little nobody' she may think she is, she is awesome. Loved this story of a Broadway nerd!

I've enjoyed Anna in the entire pitch perfect franchise, and up in the air, And yes even her cameo in twilight as the snarky friend. This book allowed me to learn more about the person behind the actress I been rooting for. From her childhood to her crazy hectic life of filming (not much of pitch perfect is mentioned if that's what you're going in for). This was an added bonus when it's narrated by Anna herself! I enjoyed it and it made me respect and like her more.

I liked Anna Kendrick before I read her book, but now I really like her. She's funny, quirky, full of anxiety and worries. She is relatable and not at the same time. Although I don't know her, it reads like she would have written it. It just sounds like her. Her writing is full of personality and entertaining anecdotes. It's a great read.

Do yourself a favor and listen to this on audio. Anna narrating her own story is the best thing ever. Also, I want to be her BFF. Her Thanksgiving and NYE party idea sound fabulous. Where do I sign up?
