Wow. So that wasn’t….exactly….what I was expecting! Hahaha! The time travel was very cool, the historical fiction a little intense, and somewhat brutal at times, and the plot was very interesting. I really liked some of the twists and surprises. What I wasn’t expecting was just how spicy this book was going to be. I mean, seriously. Sir! Alwasy wanted to read this. Good story about "falling" into another time period, especially if you are interested in Scottish history.

I was totally engrossed in the story. I wasn't sure at first if I wanted to take on such a large book but am glad I did. I was absolutely in tears at the end of the book. Sobbing so hard I had to stop reading a couple of times to be able to see the words to finish.
